Helen Biswas
Founder of Imani Light & practitioner
‘Imani’ is a Kenyan word meaning faith. Together with the word ‘Light’, this aims to describe faith being your guiding light. This was chosen due to an experience gained when in Kenya, climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, which opened up my awareness as I found acceptance, faith in myself and my light.
Since then I have embarked on a beautiful, spiritual journey of self-discovery and healing where I have participated in learning many self-developing tools. This resulted in me wanting to make changes and thus healing aspects of myself which in turn has made beautiful life long changes around me. I experienced relationships improving, career developing, confidence building, making better decisions for myself, enhancing my self-awareness and much more. People around me noticed the changes and would seek guidance. As a trained practitioner in many courses included that of a senior mental health nurse where I have experience of working with diverse range of people, I am enable to support those who require healing or changes.
At Imani Light, the aim is to empower individuals by reaching their full potential, find their authentic selves and enrich their life with happiness, joy, love, peace and so much more they can ever imagine.
